This is getting very tiresome...

Fun to read, but... my god this is the very definition of the "show, don't tell" rule gone horribly, HORRIBLY wrong! The author describes EVERYTHING. I'm not talking about the scientific/pseudoscientific terms either; situations, historical events, acronyms... this book should be named "shooting and exposition IN SPAAAACE!"
...but I enjoy it. It's entertaining. They shoot stuff and, uh... they shoot stuff some more.
