Is it time flowing continuously? Or merely the conscious present? Are our thoughts nothing but non-stop, two-dimensional trains rushing past giant billboards displaying identical images? Do you catch a glimpse of one fragment of the picture from one carriage, and another fragment from the next an identical frame is that how it works? If I write in the present tense but stray from the topic, does that time remain real
