I’m gonna be so real, this book is preacher than the other two and while I respect it, it’s not my fave

Also I’m sour about the whole Nahri/Ali thing but ALSO I still think Ali is a very well written character. None of this is a negative mark on the writing at all

This whole time Ali didn’t know about Muntadhir 😭 I thought everyone knew

The first and I suspect only sex scene in the whole trilogy and it’s one paragraph and it’s a random drunk hookup and it’s Dara I’m sobbing
