The statistical facts in this book are so unbelievable to me. The amount of specific supplies that the troops needed is something I never would have thought about. Eisenhower is shaping up really well. Patton is so cool, and I think he's a super important historical figure. The last paragraph is something else. "Young men, fated to survive and become old men dying abed half a century hence, would forever remember.."

This book is thick. Never knew operation torch existed and how important but flawed it was. Learning a lot just on one page and the stats are insane.
