It’s so good 😭😭😭
I have just now finished the first volume, and what an opening this has been! Perhaps the most alluring opening to a book I have ever read. I’m glad that the earlier characters of Don Lorenzo and Don Raymond have been explored more deeply in this part, and Don Raymond may even be the most interesting character in the book at this moment.

Wow, what can I say? My prior worries about this being a slow read have completely dissipated. The chapter I have just finished has had some of the most beautiful and yet painful content within it. This is looking to be a great read, and I really cannot wait to read further.

Very excited about this one—seems very interesting so far. A few characters have been introduced so far, but they are all distinct and intriguing in their own rights. I wasn’t sure what to expect with this at first, especially with how it is written in a very old-fashioned style, however it is certainly picking up now.
