Lots of switching between using Attolis and Gen and for some of them I can't really tell why it would have one and not the other. Unless it actually doesn't make a difference.

At first I thought Sophos was telling this story to Gen until the end when I realized it was Eddis

I don't remember any mention of slaves in the other books?
