Getting really bored of this book. Really hoping at some point I’ll want to keep flipping through it, but I’m just so bored with the main character and her identity struggle as an Asian American. Praying this is a hidden gem.

So far, I am not that smitten with the main character. But this always happens. Much more modern book with references I understand, so it'll be interesting to see an apocalypse that I can somewhat imagine myself in.

Just read the prologue. My prediction is that this book will become one of my favorites. Corporate slaves to apocalypse survivors sounds riiiight up my alley. Zombies???? Or a global outbreak virus????? PLEASE BE ZOMBIES!!!
