If the Fates Allow (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5): This was cute. I don’t think I’ve ever read anything about COVID before though. So that was interesting. And is Reagan the main character of Fangirl? I’ll have to finally read that now.

The Snow Ball (⭐️⭐️⭐️/5): The main girl was kind of insufferable. And I didn’t like the ending much. This was best friends kind of admitting their feelings for each other.

Winter Songs For Summer (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5): This was cute. Even though it was a bit corny? About a girl getting over heartbreak and becoming friends with someone she never would have expected.

Kindred Spirits (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5): Maybe the Star Wars nerd in me is biased. But I enjoyed this one. We have a little group of three people waiting outside for a week to be the first inside to see the newest Star Wars movie. Despite the modern age, where they had already purchased their tickets and didn’t really need to be waiting outside.

Midnights (⭐️⭐️⭐️/5): We see the lives of two people who met on New Year’s Eve. Every subsequent New Year’s Eve. At a party they both attend every year. It was just alright. Not really the best opening to the short story collection.
