no words can describe the amount of happiness, fun, and just pure joy that I’m experiencing reading this book. I love that it is an underrated one so I don’t have it shoved down my throat and get to go into it blind. Also am beyond GRATEFUL that I got the Fairyloot version since a lot of the details were cut out from the original version

I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCH.
It has slow burn without it being too obvious. I was invested in both the romance and the actual plot. It’s gothic, historical, eerie, I LOVE IT.

Man, it was 100++ pages in and I still couldn’t identify which one was the love interest until they actually met and IT WAS GLORIOUS. What do you MEAN; the love interest is the one who is to encourage her to marry someone else (mind you, technically, she’s already married to another person).
