Still bad. So inconsistently written—would a narrator really call her dad “Patrick, my father” in one paragraph and then “dad” in the very next? Would a character who grew up with tv that only had sports and westerns and a channel of classic movies really so constantly make references to tv shows and movies? In general, way too many specific unnecessary references to pieces of media and brands.

Some of the more nonsensical and clunky phrasing I’ve read in a while… thinks like “in the linoleum corridors of Algebra II”…what? In general, just tired of writing that over explains for no reason, as well. Will try to finish
