Ok so I love this. This world is so complex and intricate. I love both main characters and the side characters. All well crafted.

So goin into this i wasn’t expecting a masterpiece, just a cute fun read, and since I’m into gothic stuff I love all the gore and dark imagery. But, man this author loves to info dump. I get that as a stand-alone you’ve limited time to tell your story, but I’ll be in the present and then get like 5 paragraphs of background info. Kinda gives ya whiplash lol. I’ll get used to it tho and brave on🫡.

I’ve been on a roll with the fantasy and fairy tale retellings. Just finished heartless and before that the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo. Need a palate cleanser book before I get my heart ripped out by Project Hail Mary or you’ve reached Sam. I like torturing myself if ya can’t tell😀👍🏻 (I need help bro🫩✌🏻🥀)
