I am reading this so slowly… Wilf’s references in her notes are a gold mine, and all worth the time to search them, read them and all the other notes in those reads… Unfortunately, so many Israeli archival sources haven’t been translated, nor put into book format like the trove of oral testimonies from early Great Aliyah settlers (National Library of Israel)…

Intermingle I’ve read this book (it was thrown around on my newspaper desk), but it’s not titled on goodreads as the same edition (classic mistake with books in Hebrew). I’ve finished this book 5 mins before attending a wedding of a friend in some kibbutz and left it on the table of a cafe for the next reader to pick it up…

oh no. desk people in the paper are flooded with books, in many cases by the copies! i'm a kindle reader and what's dear to me i keep in print. book that come and go i don't mind to pass it on, just for the sake of knowledge and interest.
