Will probably binge read this later today, just updating to say I’m enamoured by Mishima’s writing. I already feel a sense of relatability towards Mizoguchi. Honestly thought I’d find this boring but so far so good, I just need to allot time to reading it

A book that will either take me a week or 4 months to finish. I just find Mishima’s writing so long-winded, a style that doesn’t really grab my attention but I’m hoping it pays off here. Didn’t like The Sailor last year but I’m giving him another shot, this blurb was intriguing
