Maybe I'm just not used to the horror or thriller genres, but magos is legit creepy and crazy. And not even bc of the cutting out a part of her dead son's lung and keeping it as a pet thing. There's so many little comments about her past. She was crazy before

Nevermind. Everyone in this book is crazy. Even Lucia, the grandmother who got bit by the monster is now totally chill with it and like "yay a replacement grandchild!"
