I know it’s really hard to prove plagiarism, but if I was Lily King I might talk to a lawyer about this book ripping off Writers and Lovers. Like it’s about a broadway star not a writer and thus is set in NYC instead of Massachusetts. And this protagonist’s sister has died instead of mother. There’s a love triangle with an established man in the arts and a younger cooler guy. And they’re both waitresses!
