Okay well, *somebody* had AIDS- two somebodies, actually- but not Vicks. Plenty of drama to be had either way. Not feeling much sympathy for any of these people (Vicks included); hard to have any when they're facing consequences for knowingly deliberate actions. If nothing else, this book serves as an indictment of negligent/aloof parenting.

Definitely not what I'd consider a "young adult" category book. No smut- at least, it's too early to tell- but it sure seems to be walking the line.
