I liked this! It had themes of grief, racism & paranoia during the COVID-19 pandemic, police incompetence. It was gorey & interesting. The twists surprised me; the copycat killers, the ghost being the first victim Cora cleaned up (although that made sense to me). The mayor being the lead/first hate crim serial killer was a bit on the nose, but still pieced together with the other plot points.

Has Delilah truly been pacified? Will Cora still attempt to find the hate crime serial killer?

Cora is definitely being haunted; but is it by Delilah? Chinese culture dictates that hungry ghosts are from your own ancestors & loved ones, so maybe. Cora has no sense of self, or confidence for that matter. This leaves her rather malleable/eager to please, but she’s also a bit neurotic, so she’s not great at it.

Interesting premise; anti-Asian hate during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, paranormal ghost happenings. Crime scene cleanup for a MC with symptoms of cleanliness OCD! I’m similar in age to the MC, a Wasian woman, & I have OCD (not wholly specific to cleanliness symptoms but there is some overlap).
