Why do a lot of books act like we need a romance or sex or some type of intimacy to enjoy a story? This adds nothing. I wouldn’t want someone in a position of power who I’m suppose to trust to be thinking about me. I want someone professional. Media makes it seem like it’s more than normal for people to wanna throw away careers and social standing for intimacy. 7 billion people in this world like come on.
