I am LOVING this book so much. Lore's inner dialogue as she navigates a fantasy world she never knew existed is the stuff of comedy gods. As a book girlie, I feel so seen by Kerri and I am so grateful for this character. Not to mention that Lore's ability to remain positive in the face of the worst of circumstances is just so admirable. And can we talk about the banter between Sloth and Lore! It is magical.

I am adoring having the opportunity move from one Kerri book into the next. I am listening to this in audio and Sean East is putting on a master class in how he makes subtle changes in what he's doing vocally to embody this highly analytical and focused Prince of Sin. I have been waiting our library loving Sloth. Lore is so perfectly charming and it is through her voice that Kerri writes her <3 letter to readers!

What a treat to be able to roll from one Kerri book to the next. I have been so excited to get to finally know more about our book loving demon prince Sloth. From the start, it's clear that this is Kerri's love letter to her readers and I am all about it. I can already tell that our book loving lady Lore and I will have much in common...including a certain pull to those morally grey men who will burn it all down!
