DCBD C8-12: why do I feel like Danny was the killer but doesn’t remember it? Maybe I’ll eat my words but it’s looking that way. Oo mama this story has sucked me right in. I’m listening to the audiobook whilst reading along, I’m incredibly immersed. Basically now the cops think Danny did it but since the cops think he did it, I’ve now decided that he didn’t.

Danny Coughlin’s Bad Dream C1-7: Danny has a bad dream but realises that the place where the vivid dream happened is a real place & now he’s all weirded out over it. Ends up driving out to check the place out & everything is exactly as it was in the dream but almost as if the dream is progressing in present time. He’s doing an awful lot of things to avoid being connected to the dead body.

The Fifth Step- uhh okay.. what just happened? I spent the first half of this story feeling empathetic towards the alcoholism described but that took a massively crazy turn. So is the guy using murder as a step in for drinking? Like replacing alcohol with killing? Insane either way.

Two Talented Bastids- what a whirlwind of emotions, took a second to get into but wow. Not sure why I was so devastated over Pop’s death but I was sobbing. So basically Pop&Butch felt they didn’t deserve to be famous bc an alien gave them their talents after they saved another alien while on a hunting trip. They hid the secret to their deathbeds but Pop left behind the story for his only son. Incredible.
