Chade!! He’s the bastard and Shrewd’s brother - I knew his story wasn’t so simple!! That’s why he sees kinship in Fitz I guess - they’re a lot similar. Lady Patience taking matters into her own hands lol. Also very very intrigued about the Fool now- Chade knows something that he isn’t saying, and obvi fools are not as stupid as they seem…

Yes SKILL!! Chade as Lady Thyme though lol:) also! Forgot to mention that I did crack the whole Lady Grace as the girl in the kitchen thing💁‍♀️

Thoughts so far: the writing style is quite hard for me to get into. There are easier passages and there are harder, but overall I find it difficult to get into the reading rhythm. Whoever said it picks up about 100 pages in was right - I’m more intrigued by the story since Chade showed up. My theory is that either he’s Chivalry, or he’s actually the father, or Chivalry’s not who he’s made out to be.
