One of my communities started a creative project called "After the Fall" about a year ago. It's not doomsday so much as an a way for us to think about what we want the world to look like when Empire collapses in on itself. This book reminds me a lot of that. It's not blind hope that we can prevent collapse both of climate and government. It's acceptance mixed with compassion and love for life and art and beauty.
