Not gonna lie; bit of a tough read. Sentences were just different back then. I think it was also pretty much just one long paragraph.

Still, the story was engaging, and once I got used to the prose with its heavily layered grammar structures, it felt much more enjoyable.

Definitely worth reading if you find vampires interesting, but this was pretty light on the sorts of things later codified by Dracula.
