At this point of the book, Mia is leaning towards passing away and heading toward her family because she found out that Teddy also died with her parents. However, Adam is starting to visit her, and she may change her mind. I am not surprised that she wants to leave. I think Mia will stay because of Adam. A quote that stuck out to me was, " 'Please, Mia,' he implores. 'Don't make me write a song.' " (Forman 198).

When I found out that both of Mia's parents were dead, I was shocked. At first when I read a summary of the book, I was confused why she would debate going back to life, but now I get it. A quote that sticks out to me is, "If I stay. If I live. It's up to me...I decide, I know this now." I predict that Mia is going to debate whether or not to go back to the living world. However I think she will for Teddy and Adam.
