I’m realizing in retrospect that maybe I shouldn’t have been so hard on myself about taking 6 weeks to read The Crying of Lot 49 because I’m flying through this book in comparison. About a quarter in and the plot is just starting to move so I’m not super confident that it’s going to go well by the end of it all.
