I think chapter nine set up the scene we see in the prologue. In this chapter, William discovers how negative and positive charged magnets react to one another. It's interesting to see how everything in his life is slowly coming together.

In the book, William Kamkwamba asks, "How can Dolly Parton be singing on Radio One While Shadrack Wame preaches on Radio Two?" (Kamkwamba, 47). This question sparks a fire in him. he begins to learn about radios and how they work. I think Kamkwamba will use his new found skills to help out his small African village.
