I appreciate that the author seems to either have a strong science background or has done an enormous amount of research, and I’m typically interested in this sort of stuff, but the pacing of this book is slow and it’s kind of dull.

I’ve grown to hate this book but I have three hours of reading to go. There was a whole big science-y section where everyone is horrified for some reason, and I have no idea why they’re horrified because it went over my head even though I have a decent grasp of this stuff. AND the protagonist basically gave the villain the info he needs. Dumb.

This book isn’t bad but it isn’t good and I’m kind of over it.

I’m reading too much non fiction and so I’ve added a zombie novel to the mix.
