This is my first read of a new book club and I'm finding it quite confusing. Being gay and religious doesnt compute in my brain, its an oxymoron
The way Lamya relates her life to the stories of the Quran seems like a bit of a far stretch, she wants to hold on to both worlds. While reading this book im trying to understand the experience, but find myself being unable too.
