Very tense, very fun. Every exchange had by the two main characters is twinged with a very real sadness and palpable anger that you can see pushing these men to act like their younger crueler selves. The two of them using their grief to justify how they act and watching how that’s slowly spiralling out of control as results and repercussions comes for them makes for a very engaging read.

Engaging first few chapters, two grieving fathers who share many bad characteristics aiming to make an, albeit late, attempt to do the right thing. Excited to carry on with this story. Also enjoying the dialogue, feels realistic whilst still being larger than life. Thank you again to Joe, for my second novel.
