So far, I really enjoy reading this book. Moss continues to try to escape from Chigurh while dealing with the consequences of taking the money. As the story continues, the characters face increasing danger. The coin used by Chigurh represents fate and the choice people make. Chigurh says, "The coin don't have no say" (McCarthy 95). This shows that he believes people are responsible for their own choices.

I am reading No Country for Old Men by Cormac McCarthy. Sheriff Tom Bell reflects on violence he has seen. Llewelyn Moss finds the aftermath of a drug deal and takes a briefcase of money. Realizing people are after him, he runs. Bell investigates the killings and tries to understand what happened. The conflict over the money makes Moss’s life more dangerous and draws Bell deeper into the case.
