Also talking cats? One of the best tropes.

So far I’m liking it! But honestly any time I read a translated book I always feel like I’m missing something. Like an element of poetic prose that is really only found in the original language.

That said… this has that brevity and economy of words similar to other Japanese books I’ve read recently.
