The protagonist is a boy named Jim Hawkins. His thought was about his dad and how treasure Island started off and that's what the gentelmen asked him to write about he also had feelings about him wanting to be a pirate some day. What they say about this character is that he know's more about the history of treasure island then anyone also people said to him he'l never get to be one mans pirate.

I predict that a different ship has taken over there and they're under control by a different captain. Because in chapter 4 it says that" Flint was cap'n"; so that means someone has taken his place or they're saying that they wouldn't be here if it wasn't for our captain.
