Two Envelopes And A Phone
Two Envelopes And A Phone is starting
There does not seem to be one edition of this book that is correct in all details, at least among the ones I’ve looked at. This is the cover of the version I have…but don’t ask me who Elizabeth Kent is. I don’t remember that Farjeon dealt in pseudonyms for this series, and they don’t have that name designated as a pseudonym anyway. This Collins edition does not have the Keating Intro. Anyway, Ben the Tramp, finally!

Fun. A bit zany - and some creepy, too. So, not a bad choice for early October, while saving the disturbing stuff for later. This is my first “Ben the Tramp” Mystery, though the novel Seven Dead by Farjeon is in my personal Top 25 Crime & Mystery novels.
