it’s really starting to pick up! i was worried that i would be bored with a book that didnt really have an overarching plot but i find that i like how it lends more time into deep dives for the dynamics between characters. i assumed that cosimo and biagio’s father was just another silly nobleman archetype but he’s actually quite the caring father

for a really old book, the female characters r surprisingly interestingly written! no one female character is boring or stereotypical: generalessa, battista, and viola u r all goated

- almoner (official distributor of alms)
- breviary (sort of a prayer book)
