Finished the namesake short story. I can say I appreciated the fundamental question Tolstoy was asking. I've never watched someone die, but I hope we all can taste the sweet release of death when our time comes.

Just finished 'Family Happiness', which I enjoyed. I felt for Masha and he struggles to figure out love, marriage, depression, longing, and motherhood. her and that old ass man should have never gotten together, but im glad they both made the adult decision to quit trying at something that was never going to (and arguably never did) work.
