There’s a lot of telling (not showing) of the past but I don’t mind it. I wish there were deeper descriptions of the settings.

So far so good but quite repetitive

Wait I’m really liking this. The writing isn’t the best, a bit repetitive. However I already love this character. I’ve never read a fantasy book where the main character suffers from migraines and I feel seeeeeeen. And I like that we’re jumping into the plot pretty early and it doesn’t feel rushed.
