I do need to DNF this. Not because it’s a bad book!! But it reminds me of Grandma Lou so much that it just makes me sad to read. Like the kind of happy sad that’s tough on the heart.

The writing and the story are amazing!! I’m just genuinely so sad reading this because Mrs. Threadgoode reminds me of Grandma Lou. And I don’t know if I’m ready for that yet.
