Wow! I read up on this author and was so sad to find out that he not only died so young, but died by suicide. I can only imagine the amazing work he might have created had he lived longer and had the opportunity to really hone his style. An incredibly talented writer. Southern Gothic and short stories are two of my favorite forms of writing, and he did both so beautifully. Thankful to Goodreads for the suggestion.
