Finished part two and capote focused a lot on the killers past lives and how both of their dynamics work. However it failed to make me sympathetic. In fact I agree with the sister’s letter. You’re responsible for your actions and path you choose regardless of your upbringing. Only an immature person can’t realize that. And that’s what they are.

Getting that backstory of Perry and dick. Feel awful how they grew up but I’m curious what led to all that happening if they knew what life without family would feel.

Ok it went right to the crime! Liking the pacing. I’m following the Perry & Dick dynamic very well.

Capote writing this early on is captivating. Im inthralled by setting of the Midwestern state Kansas. Mrs. Clutter and Dick are two characters I’m keeping my eye on they sound like they’re the problem.
