Well that was a lot !
I was hoping Gertrude would just knock out the captain like bam bam bam then swim out but I like how the made it a bit more interesting.
Gertrude and Eric has really found there adventurer side beating up the twins , beating up the guards ( or who ever) then going for a ride in the sea( kinda ) .
How big is this wave Cus an Elephant isn’t that big but I thought the wave would be bigger.

Thats quite mean of the guy actually to remind Eric of his father’s death .
Valid crash out from Eric .
Because of some of the things Gertrude has done is this book I would have thought that Gertrude would realise she should break them out right ?
Why did they break the pole intead of the rope or chain whatever it was that tied them up ?
They made a fire they might as well set off the bombs before the fire does .

I think batter , frown and gnarl need a team meeting and hire a better member for their group .
Why didn’t they just run away from the beach and the house like who would go to the beach if they’re trying to run away .
Silly Gertrude tried to protect them but got them tied up instead .
I sure hope Eric knows what he’s doing as well cus the captain might of let them go if they said they had not told anyone

How did the twins know they didn’t drink the tea and how did they get to their room so fast ???
Sid may not walk so good but he has many talents like that was some good morse code .
I would like some background music to that running .
What a coincidence that the big 3 ( mr frown , batter and miss gnarl ) showed up .
This might be a little tricky to get out off .

This quickly turned into a horror book
The twins are actually quite creepy and even if it was my own opinion I wouldn’t go in there .
Surprised they’re not suffocating from all that dust then they wouldn’t even need the poison .
Eric and Gertrude just causally left Sid alone and went for a climb in a STORM !
How very silly , and they’re spying they did catch them being nazi and trying to poison them tho.

Just jump out the side of a train I’m sure that will be fine .
Love their outfits but I fear the police should have found them suspicious saying that it’s December .
I think the ticket guy will tell the police he saw Gertrude and the police will chase after them but they don’t know it .
I’m not sure they can go in there , they might need a new plan unless they’re going to break in .

Actually the most TMI book I’ve ever read .
Why didn’t Gertrude just pick up Sid and Eric cause then Eric wouldn’t have got caught and lost his shoe .
Going through the window is an interesting way to get in was the door not working ?
Poor lady I hope she didn’t have to prepare the food for ages because it was gone is seconds .
Next time I think Gertrude should let them know she needs to go before hand …

Why exactly did Eric have to wear that …….
What about all the other animals they’re just going to get arrested and Betty , but go Betty go for tackling the lady !
I think out of everything Eric could have said he said the worst thing like who would eat an identity card .
Why didn’t they just jump on the train and made the police chase them that would have been fun .

They just had to get caught but I think they brushed aside the fact that Gertrude knocked someone out a bit quickly.
Poor Betty if only Sid gave her a chance .
I’m not quite sure animals can eat cake or biscuits but oh well .
I feel they should dress Gertrude up as a widow in stead because she would still have a veil but I think it would make more sense .

I like how David Williams kinda interacts with the reader .
Eric choosing to save Gertrude over Sid first is funny but it seemed like Gertrude had it sorted using her fangs .
It cute how Gertrude squeezed Eric’s hand was she was scared but still help Sid down the tree .
I’ll be a bit worried if no one does notice that there is a gorilla walking the streets of London .
