spooky, eery, and a little bit sexy... beatriz and andres' banter is so quick and a little bit of comic relief and fun in a world that is otherwise quite dark and secretive. and i like that. we've reached some kind of climax with rodolfo's return now too. i wonder what's happening? i don't even have theories

okay, 25% in and we are in the meat of the book now. im glad that we had all that time to set the scene and introduce andres though, and understand the house and beatriz. while im annoywd at her for continuing to "explore" the damn house, i guess she HAD TO for the plot 🙄

this is so good so far. i love how we're setting the scene and seeing what has led beatriz to make her decisions and what motivates her. there's so much repetition of stucco though LOL
