Reflection: Leigh grows on me more and more. She truly is in tune with what is going on. Even Darnell is putting two and two together. So random that the book made it a point that Buddy is not fully racist. Some character development before his GRUESOME death. (to be continued…)

(continued) Now that the book is in third person, we get to see more of how Arnie is feeling and how Christine is actually changing him. Sidelining Dennis feels like an odd choice. I don’t know how doing this affects the plot in any way.

Reflection: The book is picking up steam. The shorter chapters in Part II and the switch to third person really help break up the plot into shorter segments and keep things interesting. feel more sympathetic to Arnie now, especially with how his parents have been acting… (to be continued)
