Julia is struggling after Olga's death and she seems to be losing motivation as life gets harder. I think it's really sad that being in Olga's room is one of the only things that makes her feel better. She said, "I unlock Olga's door and crawl into her bed. It's one of the only things that can make me feel better"(220). I wonder if Julia will find a way to move forward without feeling like she's leaving Olga behind.

Julia is getting frustrated with everyone judging who she is and comparing her to Olga. I can understand why she feels pressured to change. She feels like she's not living up to the expectations and says, "I don't understand why everyone just complains about who I am. What am I supposed to do? Say I'm sorry? (Sanchez 117). This shows how tired she is of trying to be accepted by everyone and to be as good as Olga.
