unfortunately i forgot i saw the movie and didn’t like it. turns out that i also don’t really enjoy the book! probably would have loved this when i was in my 2007 twilight era BUT in the year of our lord 2026 the ick (tropes include benevolent slave owner, child vampire) outweighs some lovely writing. PASS
