Bunny Munro is an enormous twat. A compulsive onanist, serial philanderer, misogynistic, date-raping alcoholic fuck-face. However. Cave has tapped into the same kind of power that Irvine Welsh uses so masterfully to create these scumbag characters that I can’t seem to get enough of, blending fantasy and reality seamlessly. Not quite as good as Welsh but compulsive reading nevertheless.
