Interesting that Alec and Jace are parabatai from the start. In the prequels being parabatai has huge implications and it seems to have none in this book. Like, Jace dies and Alec doesn’t even notice.

I love how I started this series hating Simon but now I really love him. Every other character is giving Days of Our Lives but Simon’s story is serving What We Do in the Shadows.

The NY accent on this narrator is making this experience a million times better.
