The 1st person voice is off-putting/unbelievable. Who talks like that in their head? She was ridiculous. "He bit his lower lip and I clenched my thighs, aware of the sudden dampness emanating between my legs." Lol. No. No. And no. Lots of "you are stupid, Reader, let me explain this," storytelling. Also, what adult, average American woman doesn't know the meaning of "randy"?
