This is strangely interesting. So far, at a little more than a hundred pages in, it reminds me of a combination of howl’s moving castle, discworld, and practical magic. I think I know what is going to happen plot and character wise, but I’m intrigued enough by the setting and systems of magic to keep going. And I actually like the main character, which for me, rarely happens with cozy fantasy books.
