This isn't my typical read, infact, im not even reading this by my own will. It's an assigned reading for history. HOWEVER, Jurgis and Oona seem to have my heart in their relationship so far. I do feel for them, they wanted to start fresh and be able to support themselves. They came to America with good intentions and good determination and are being screwed over already from America's housing and working conditions.
