Another 10 chapters down! It was Charlie’s lucky day!!! I love that for him and how sweet for Grandpa Joe to go with him! We meet Mr Wonka and he’s so enthusiastic it’s so much fun! I love the chocolate room! And the Oompa-Loompas from Loompaland! I love the line with Mrs Salt “there’s no such place, I’m a teacher of geography” haha AUGUSTUS FELL IN THE CHOCOLATE RIVER! HES BEING SUCKED UP A TUBE?!?!

What a lovely family! The buckets are so resilient and the love they have for Charlie is so apparent! What a sweet young boy! Learning of the other four revolting children who found the golden tickets is so interesting! I’m inspired by how optimistic Charlie is throughout their hardships as a family! “Then was it his, this fifty pence?” “Could he have it?” I hope this is his lucky day, as he deserves it!
